"These guys are fantastic. They got everything I needed done and were very careful with my things. Can't say enough good things about their work. "
Gordon Ellijay customer"I learned a hard lesson that cost me extra money. I booked them from 12-2p thinking I would arrive by 11am. Well I did not get to the house with the moving truck until 215p. Smith Movers arrived right on time at 12p and they kindly waited for me and then moved everything for me. However, I did have to pay them for the 2 hours they were waiting, it says it clearly in the contract. But, then I had to pay them hourly after 2p, which is also clearly stated in the contract, and so, I didn't have them put anything together for me because of that. So, my advice, be sure to book them far out and give yourself plenty of time to be late and have time to clean before they bring everything in. My mistake."
Lynn Jasper customer"I hired the movers to onload two relo-cubes. There is a two hour minimum for their time, I understand that. The movers were finished well under the two hour time frame. Very professional and respectful men. What I didn't appreciate is they wouldn't set up my bed frame. That would have been quite easy for them to do but since they didn't disassemble it they wouldn't assemble. Seriously! Two grown men well under their time frame wouldn't assemble a bed frame! The second thing is they didn't bring anything to cover the front door threshold for the handtrucks to roll over smoothly. The company who loaded my cubes in Phoenix had that taken care of so not sure why this company couldn't as well. It wasn't on their list of things to be requested or I would have done so. If you are concerned about your door threshold being damaged well good luck with this company. Lastly, there was damage to my kitchen table that was quite noticeable. I don't think these men did the damage but they didn't bring it to my attention which makes me wonder if they did do the damage. "
