“The two men that came to move our furniture for us were very polite, on time and worked hard! The business owner however was another story! It’s because of him that I would never recommend anyone using Miracle Movers. I had setup this move well in advance but on Sunday night, after I had gone to bed, the owner calls me and leaves me a message to call him. Other than that I could barely understand what the man was saying on the message. So the next morning, the day of the move, I called him at 7:30am and left him a voicemail. I never heard from him again until later in the day when his two employees said that they were told to collect cash for the balance of the charges. I said that I had paid the deposit with my credit card and the contract I was sent even said to pay the movers the balance using the same card. I did not have any cash. So they called the owner and handed me the phone. He said he can’t accept credit cards because his machine is “broken”! I said then you can hold my card number and run it when you get the machine fixed. He said no I had to pay cash and fussed a bit. I said again, I do not have cash! I handed the phone back to his employees and we went to the bank where I pulled out cash for the payment. I’m pretty sure Miracle Movers doesn’t take credit cards ever so they can get paid in cash and hide it from the IRS. Any respectable business with a credit card machine malfunctioning would have it fixed in short order so as not to cause any disruptions in business or inconvenience to the customers. ”
